SOMA’s 1st research paper was presented at the 8th International Conference on Complex Networks & Their Applications!

Our project’s very first research paper Beyond Fact-Checking: Network Analysis Tools for Monitoring Disinformation in Social Media elaborated by LUISS Data Lab‘s researchers Stefano Guarino, Noemi Trino, Alessandro Chessa and Gianni Riotta, has been presented in the Poster Sessions of the 8th International Conference on Complex Networks & Their Applications, held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 10-12 December, 2019.

The article contains both an overview and a first case-study elaborated using SOMA’s toolbox, DisinfoNet, designed to help the wide SOMA community understand the dynamics of fake news dissemination on social networks.

The article has been furthermore selected for publishing as a Chapter in the Conference Book and it is available here.
