On 8 October 2019, SOMA will participate in the session “Lightning Talks: Influencing trends in the media sector’, organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), under the Accelerating European Media Innovation event.
EBU organises this event to conclude the MediaRoad project, a H2020 project that has been supporting the transformation of the European media sector by building an ecosystem for innovation and strengthening collaboration between researchers, content creators, broadcasters and start-ups, and to furthermore share the perspective of the media sector with the EU policy for 2021-2027.
SOMA project coordinator, Nikos Sarris, Head of the Innovation Lab in Athens Technology Center (ATC), will introduce SOMA and its strategies on establishing a network supporting the EU’s long-term efforts to build defenses against disinformation.
The session “Lightning Talks: Influencing trends in the media sector” will take place at the Hotel Renaissance in Brussels, from 14.00 to 15.20. You can see the event’s agenda here.
