The next of the intensive training events for the JOLT Action will take place at the University of Navarra(UNAV) in Pamplona, Spain, from 02 to 05 July 2019. The event includes a number of workshops and training components, as well as the Action’s Mid Term Check with the European Commission.
The event begins on Tuesday (02 July) with a round table discussion, chaired by Ramon Saliverria (UNAV), on new business perspectives in journalism. This discussion will involve a broad range of participants including Alison Gow (Reach plc), Philipe Couve (SAMSA.fr) and Tomás Garcia Morán (La Voz de Galicia), among others.
This will be followed by an overview of the SOMA. This overview will be provided by Nikos Sarris (ATC) and will give participants a hand-on experience of using the tools developed to tackle disinformation. This session provides a clear link with the Provenance Action, a H2020-ICT project on combating online mis- and disinformation, also coordinated by FuJo at Dublin City University.
